RE: Problem of text not being read has mysteriously returned in Word

On this continuing problem in MS Word 2003, I'd also like to add that even
though Jaws says blank when reading the current line, I do still here the
characters spoken when arrowing left and right. With much earlier versions
of Jaws I'd get both blank lines and blank spaces and would have to
constantly refresh the screen to fix it so Jaws would speak the text again.
Now-a-days just the former is the problem.

I've exhausted all the avenues that I've been advised to try to resolve this
phenomenon which were mostly reconfiguring settings in Word. Again, why
this problem did not occur at all with Jaws 5.10 and suddenly cropped up in
6.0 leaves me at a total loss.

Well, I'll type this sentence, for example, and stop. Then I'd try to read
the current line and only hear Jaws say blank. I'd Insert + Escape to
refresh the screen which would then allow Jaws to read the current line
until I begin typing once again. Jaws would say blank when I try to read
the current line again.

My view in Word is set at normal and I tried the zoom at both 100% and 75%
with no result. I've turned off screen tips, animations, and the like.
I've maximized the Window as well. I'm stumped on why JFW 5.10 works fine
and 6 does not.

One other thing I forgot to mention before. I have Jaws 6 on two different
computers. This problem isn't occurring on one computer but is on another.
That definitely makes me wonder if it is actually a Jaws problem or not.

Could you tell a bit more about when the problem occurs as I haven't seen
this myself.
