i find that jaws 7.0 cannot access custom animation in powerpoint 2003 as well as jaws 5.1 with office 2000. jaws 7.0 cannot access order and timing, effects and multimedia under custom animation in office 2003. this had discouraged me from using office 2003 and had to reverse to office 2000 which works very well with jaws 5.1.
setting pictures or video clips to display in full screen in powerpoint 2003 is not much of a problem unlike office 2000 which is quite tedious.

I have used jaws 7.0 and Office 2003 PowerPoint with success. On Thursday
and Friday, my first classes this semester, I seemed to be having some
problems with PowerPoint and jaws. Seemed as if sometimes when advancing a
slide the program would jump two slides.
Have any of you had such a problem, if so, did you return to jaws 7.0?
Maybe I was just nervous and hit the space bar twice or held it a split
second too long, but I don't think so.

Hi John,
take your out put jacks from your cassette player and connect them to your
line in jack on your computer. You will need a cable with a 3.5 millimeter
stereo jack on one end and two RCA jacks on the other ( needed for most
cassette players ), after they are connected you will need to go to your
system tray and click on volume and then click on volume control then tab
down to line in and uncheck the mute button. Then when you start to play
your cassettes you will hear the cassette playing through your computer. I
use Gold wave and it works great and there are scripts available for it on
the:
www.jfwlite.com/programs
page. Hope this helps.

Liz,
How do you get the cassette player into the PC? Is there a cable that
you plug into the mic input or something? I would love to begin
putting cassette music into my PC.
Take care,
John

Subject: jfw friendly tape to digital conversion program

I am new to this list, and am looking for a program to convert
cassette Tapes to digital format.

I did a search on Google, and received a reply from one company that
the Program isn't speech friendly because it

Is a wav editing program. Is this the case with all conversion programs?

Thank you

Nancy
