This advice is sound but you can get directly to the Outlook help topic by 
pressing Insert+f1 twice quickly whilst in the Outlook application.

Ileen, do the following to open the helpful hints section, found in the
outlook help topic.
1. Open JAWS help.
2. Make sure that you're in the contents tree. To do this, press alt c.
3. Open the "popular applications" book
4. Open the "Microsoft Applications" book.
5. Press enter on "outlook"
6. Press F6 to move focus to the page.
7. Press enter on "helpful hints"
All should be there. Hope that helps.
