I wonder if your card has the Creative Console. The version I have for an older Creative card under XP is accessible with Jaws and gives access to most of the controls including surround settings. The Creative Surround mixer and other Creative sound card software is not so easy to use with Jaws but possibly could be scripted. The thing is people into serious multi-track audio suggest using something other than Creative. I Need A Sound Card That I Can Configure Hi all, I have a sound blaster extreme audio soundcard. The card has to be configured using the creative software interface, which is graphical. The Microphone jack and line in jack is multifunctional, meaning that the jack does both things. I did not know this when I got the sound card. I am using Windows Vista, and I am wondering if there is a sound card that I could configure myself. This can be done using the onboard sound, but it slows everything down, so I would rather not use it. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE. My apologies if this is too much off topic. If so, could some one tell me an appropriate email list or write me off list at wrenlangley@xxxxxxxxxxxxx GOD BLESS, Wren ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ No virus found in this incoming message.
