Did you ever have luck in finding out if there is a way to setup a custom
JAWS reading key combo that will speak
selective parts of the screen upon demand in Ms-word 2003? If so, could
you possibly tell me how a person goes about doing this? Any help you can
maybe give on this would be muchly appreciated. Much thanks in advance.

In MS Word 2003, It actually would be very useful to set up a quick
reading
key of some sort that looked to the status line in word in the lower right
and selectively only spoke "Ln number XX Pg number XX" as an alternative
to
reading all the info on the status line as I can now with Insert-3 on the
number pad.for editing I stil need to read the full status line from time
to
time but more often I don't need to hear about columns, tracking,
strikeover
etc.
Is there a way to setup a custom JAWS reading key combo that will speak

Good morning. Wondering how to set jaws (11) to speak line numbers in a
word
document such as a legal deposition. I am in print view and line numbering
is on (setup under File menu, Page format, line numbering). Apparently the
line numbers are visible for sighted viewer but JAWS is not speaking the
numbers. Any help with this would be tremendously appreciated.
