Hi,

I'll make this short and sweet. I'm about to buy a DVD burner. I have
the choice between a Memorex burner which comes with Nero and a Buslink
burner which comes with no software so I can get Roxio 6 for $49.95 directly
from Roxio. I know Roxio 7 is useless with JAWS; so, I won't even go there.
Those of you who use Roxio 6 and those of you who use Nero may feel free to
write me off list and tell me why you use what you do and the good points
about each...as well as the bad points. I need the following capabilities
for what ever software I choose.

1. Direct disk to disk copying.

2. the ability to burn mp3 CD's as mp3 CD's and not only as data CD's.

3. The ability, when burning Audio CD's to determine whether a disk is
burned using DAO (disk at once) or TAO (track at once)

4. The ability to determine whether an audio CD has a 2 second gab between
tracks.

5. The ability to determine in advance how much space is left on a disk
image before burning.

6. The ability to use buffer underrun protection.

7. The ability to format a disk and make data CD's.

8. The ability to use disk spanning.

    Thanks.

Sincerely Yours,

The Constantly BAREFOOTED
Ray
