1. I don't have any problem with this on Outlook 2k, so don't know why you
should have.

2. Insert f7 is the keystroke to read a mis-spelled word when you are creating
an Outlook message. It brings up a dialog of links within the message when you
are reading a message that has been sent to you. Hyperlinks are only active
when the format of the message text is HTML. RTF and plain text format
messages will only show a URL in text form. If you create messages in HTML
format, you can insert Hyperlinks into the message.

3. sorry I do not use PGP, so I don't know how it wuld work with Outlook 2k.

Cheers
Chris

Subject: Ms Outlook 2000: "solutions" needed for three problems

Hi everybody

Any advice/help/solutions with the following problems which I experience in
Ms Outlook 2000 will be appreciated:

1 I cannot reply directly to e-mails that I have moved to the "archives"
folder or to subfolders (which I have created under the archives folder.

2 When an e-mail contains links, I cannot follow them from the e-mail. (I
have to copy and paste them into the address bar of Internet Explorer). I
can also not bring up the list of links in the e-mail. When trying to do it
with insert-F7, I receive a message, saying: "not in spell check).
(Note, I could follow links and bring up the list of links in Outlook
Express).

3 I am using PGP (the free version). After receiving an encrypted message
and after I have decrypted it by entering my pass phrase, the message
remains decrypted. (My setting is such that messages are suppose to remain
decrypted only for 2 minutes - not for forever).

(It seems to me that the more powerful a program is suppose to be, the more
problems it also creates - or that "basics" is sacrificed in favour of
so-called "sophistication").

Renette
