what? All you have to do if you are in xp is highlight the file, press alt+f to drop down the fine menu, click extract all, give it the correct path and click extract. If you are using winzip, launch the file which will open winzip, press shift+e after hitting the i agree button if necessary and path it. In case the steps got lost somewhere, you need to 1. unzip the ad-aware scripts so that you can see the ten files in a list. 2. Highlight all ten files--control-a, and copy them to the clipboard, control-c. 3. Go to My computer, the drive where JAWS is installed, and find it--hit enter to open it. 4. Press s till you get to settings--it should be the first thing--and hit enter. 5. JAWS should say 'not selected, enu.' Press spacebar to select it, then press enter. 6. Now JFW should say something like 'factdef, 1 of 1369'. 7. paste the ten files here, control-v. 8. close everything. I didn't have to compile the scripts, but it can't hurt. Sometimes it helps to unload and reload jfw, but it isn't always necessary. Two ways to see if it worked. Go into ad-aware. 1. Press insert-h for the ad-aware help message--to see if you get ad-aware help. If not, it didn't work. 2. Press insert-q. JFW should say that ad-aware scripts are loaded. If not, they aren't. Start over and try it again. It's easy to forget a step. good luck. -- To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
