Well, welcome to the World of JAWS. (LOL) I have had the same problem. To cure this I simply (Microsoft Outlook) use a cntrl + Y and switch to a different folder such as the junk mail folder. Then I can go back to the in-box and everything is so lovely. Why it happens I have absolutely no clue. While JAWS 10 works so much better on the web it craps out with Microbloat Outlook from time to time so I have retreated back to JAWS 9. Perhaps by the time 11 comes out 10 will be fairly bug free? Sometimes JAWS reads the title of another file I've recently used into the email subject line even if I am not currently using it. Turning JAWS off and/on or doing the same to the application usually helps, and, if not, then re boot the computer. Hope this helps. This usually restores OE to normal. If this doesn't work, you nmay have to reboot your computer to restore OE to normal. It will read the "unread" graphic but to get the rest I have to do say line command. Any advice?
