Not to get too off topic here, Francisc, but the sound Real Player provides for online streaming, music file playing, CD playing, etc. is just the same as Windows Media player or Winamp. There isn't any qualitative, audible difference among these players. The only variables of importance are, to begin with, the quality of the audio source (online streaming file, or compressed music file, etc.) and then, of course, the hardware involved. But if something sounds really terrible, it's likely to be the source, and not the player. As if that's any comfort to your poor wife trying to make good use of that Spanish learning resource. ¡Ay, pobrecita! c----- Original Message ----- From: "Francis Daniels" <fdaniels@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, June 12, 2005 2:33 PM Subject: Re: "Message Center?" (was: video intercept error) My wife had to use Real Player when practicing Spanish language terms on the school's web site. The sound was terrible, although I think it was the quality of recording along with how Real Player reproduced it. It was an insult to the ears.
