I found the places you mentioned, but my settings must not set up the same as yours. I find listboxes but they don't have checkboxes. Or are you talking about the checkboxes that are for enabling or disabling items? For example on the applications tab, Globally disable individual settings, or on the desktop tab, the checkbox for enable multiple desktops? I was able to check and uncheck those with the spacebar, but jaws wouldn't always state checked or not checked as I did it. But if I pressed the space bar, then pressed insert tab, jaws would report the checked or unchecked status correctly. Go to display properties->settings tab->advanced button->troubleshoot tab. I believe that is the same video card I have. Are you referring to in device manager, somewhere in control panel, what and where are these settings specifically and I will try them if I have the same options. Jaws announces the status of these boxes when I use the jaws cursor over them but nothing happens when I hit the left-mouse button. Is there any way to make jaws behave properly in these controlls?
