Hi Theresa,
The problem is in Excel's (and Word) not making use of Microsoft Active
Accessability so that JAWS can use it to tell you what is going on. It's
been repaired in Excel 2000. There is no work-around. I teach both Word
and Excel, and ran head-first into that one. Similar things happen in using
ZoomText.
