Nice one, thanks very much indeed, it works a treat.I tried to change it in the keyboard manager back to the old key but it didn't seem to work, I must be doing something wrong.

The key stroke is now control scroll lock f12. You can find this and more in the jaws help, under key strokes> popular applications. Click that, then press f6 to get to the virtual page. In the new JAWS 8 and Microsoft Windows Live Messenger, this doesn't seem to work any more, can anyone tell me if there is a way to get this information please? Many thanks in anticipation, Steve. -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.comJFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxTo unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfwIf you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
