The term that you might be looking for is data encryption: where a user's
data is securely "locked" using a security key. I know that is a utility
that allows you to do this (I don't know about it though). You might want to
search for password-protection software on the Internet.

Hi Listers, I'm wondering if Windows has a log on key sequence (see I don't
even know the right terminology). But do I need third party software for
this security function? I have a lot of banking info on my computer. right
now I'm going through a divorce and... I'm running Jaws 7.0 on a Win XP home
