It did that because of the new language detection feature built into JFW 5.0.
When a web designer specified Spanish as part of the coding, JFW switched to
Spanish.  There are a few websites where British English as opposed to
American English are used, and JFW will likewise switch.

Why did my copy of jaws stop speaking english and start speaking spanish?  I
was viewing a website, when all of a sudden instead of English? I heard
Castilian Spanish?
