If I may reply to this, AVG antivirus is a product of Grisoft, at http://www.grisoft.com. There's a free version, which I use with satisfaction, as well as a paid version with a few advantages such as more flexibility in scheduling updates and such, as well as unlimited customer support. I don't believe the paid version is particularly expensive. Anyway, check at the Grisoft web site to see more about it. Is a v g antivirus program free? I heard that it is but I don't know for sure. I want to get a good antivirus program but not one that's really expensive. Thanks for yourhelp in advance. But, I would like to tell you that why don't you try again and make some clean installation for your Norton. I'm using Norton 2003 and I have no problem at all. There is another anti virus that you can use. AVG works fine also. Am I making a bad judgement? Would you recommend another anti-virus program that will work well with JFW 7? Norton is really annoying. Jaws seems to struggle greatly with it. I know what can happen without one. I was down for 4 months and cost me a complete computer. Press Control + Tab until you hear Compose Tab. Then, you can change it.
