Jaws with the dongle

I know this has been covered but since I did not need the information at
the time, I spaced it off. Now I am looking at a new laptop with no floppy
drive. How does the dongle attach to the PC? I keep hoping that Freedom
Scientific will get their CD authorization working soon. Thanks, Marie
