It's been a while since I used
JAWS 7. If you updated via the automatic update feature, you would be better
off visiting the Freedom Scientific web site and downloading the newest JAWS
7 update direct to your hard drive and installing from there. Sometimes the
automatic download does not work well.

Hi there, anyone else running Jaws 7.10.500.7 having trouble after
(seemingly) the latest round of updates? Jaws quits soon after starting up,
gives this error
jfw.exe application error
the instructon at "0x1501ec82" refernced memory at "0x0152503c". The memory
could not be "read"
comes up in event log as Event ID 1000 fault address 0x0019c676
This is an Asus Netbook 1005HAB with XP, Duxbury 10.6 (got it printing with
the Braille Blazer) and Jaws was working ok until the last round of
updates...
Also need advise on correct settings for JAWS with Outlook 2003. For some
reason after switching, lost the setting to make it read the inbox using the
down arrow. Just seems like you can't make it go anywhere correctly, but at
this point, problem # 1 makes problem #2 a moot point...
