Hi, all, I have embarked on a quest to learn how to create webpages as part of the e-learning systems implementation I'm doing at my company. Does anyone know if there are script files out there that help Jaws read the following free Html editors? I'll include a list with a short description below: Amaya: This one's made by the w3 group who were big in the creation of the worldwide web, hence w3. The menu commands and toolbars are really accessible out of the box with Jaws but the text area is not. This is apparently a browser and wysiwyg html editor rolled into 1. When trying to navigate through a simple html document I created from scratch in notepad, I get dead silence with the pc cursor and numbered graphics with the Jaws and invisible cursors. Window class is called canvas. http://www.w3.org/Amaya/ html kit: Non-wyziwyg html editor but full of neat features. Jaws doesn't seem to recognize the menus on this one. You ahve to use the Jaws cursor to click on the menu bar at the top of the screen and work your way down the list of options with the jaws cursor listeniong to toolbar buttons and the text of your document the whole way down. I chekced the window class on the menus and it called it submenu or something of that sort. None of the window class reassignments I found in the list in the Jaws configuration manager seemed to tell jaws to treat a child window as a menu. Custom highlight assign doesn't seem to work either because the meu can't be navigated with the pc cursor and the down arrow and it doesn't always respond to the mouse clicking on the jaws cursor. http://www.htmlkit.com/ does anyone have any suggestions on how I can make Jaws read this stuff properly? Any scripts I can find and download?
