You won't need to uninstall JAWS anymore since there's no requirement
to do that.
Basicly, reinstall your current update release of JAWS which's suppose to
be:
JAWS10.0.1151
While it's being in the installation process, select repair from the
radio button's which are shown below
and than try to update again.

Last time I installed Jaws I was on the phone for over half an hour
because
my 20 digit code wouldn't work because of my fire wall settings.
Is there no other way I can do this?

I've encountered the similar problem While I'm attempting to update,
unless it suppose to not see this message anymore.
To repair JAWS, Basicly Reinstall it once again and select repair
from the radio button's shown, in case it still resulting the same,
go ahead and get the web vversion instead, I' contacted
freedomscientific earlier and notified them that they must fix that up
since we won't face it in the next update, I' wish that they heard my
feedback as welll.
