The menu, or the jaws main interface, is coming up because you're =

Jaws from the Toolbar, same as a program like Word or Outlook Express. =

you want it to remain hidden unless you deliberately reveal it, go to =

basics menu and check Automatically Start jaws.
Next, reboot your computer. Jaws will now be in the startup group, the=20
programs that launch during boot-up. And Jaws will be running not from =
the=20
Task Bar but from the System Tray. If you do want to bring up its menus =
(as=20
opposed to the configuration menus, which you invoke differently), you =
just=20
press Insert F11 and arrow through the list of running program until you =
find it, then hit Enter. Or just press Insert J, which will also put up =
the=20
interface.

Hello all, using Jaws 6.0 and XP home I often when doing a alt tab to =

bring the Jaws window into focus the menu for Jaws will come up. It's as =

if I hit the alt key when Jaws is in focus. Is there a way I can set it =

up so that when I alt tab the menu won't come up.
