Jaws Apparently Losing Focus

Hello,
I am using Jaws 6.0 and Windows XP Home. While reading messages in OE, Jaws
will say items on my desktop and when I press insert "t" it will say no window
and tell me to press windows "m". Why is this happening and how can I fix it?
I have tried reparing Jaws but the problem still exists.
