RE: Jaws 9 Issue

@ things to try are:

* maximize the Word window; JAWS can often fail to read any window that
is not maximized.

* Make sure you have some printer driver installed and set as the
default printer, even if you don't have a printer attached to the pc.
If yuou don't have a printer, go into the printers list and use the
microsoft document image printer; just right click on it and set it as
the default printer.

Word needs to use some information and capabilities from the default
printer driver, and when there is no default printer at all, it will
sometimes not show the text on the screen properly.

If you have no printer driver already installed at all, just pick one
(like some hp laser printer) and install it.  You don't need any disk,
windows has drivers built-in.

Finally, as someone has mentioned, in the word window go into the view
menu and set the default view to "normal".L

problem.
