Jim, I can definitely understand where you're coming from.
Like you said how on earth are you supposed to fix a problem if you
can't reproduce it yourself? One thing that may be of use to you
though. On this particular machine, I am running at a much higher
screen resolution than is normally done by some JAWS
users. Currently my screen resolution is 1024x768. Now you might be
asking well ok dude why in the hell don't you go down to
800x600? Well, the answer is, on this particular system, if I do,
JAWS simply will not read anything, it's as if it only likes this
particular screen resolution. I guess it has a lot to do with my
particular video card and other such things.
Believe me, I tried running at 256 colors and 800x600, but things
just didn't work for me. I don't know if that helps at all but there it is.
Now also people guess what you guys got to understand some thing. If a programmer can not reproduce a problem he can not fix it. Here is an example I have been working on updating the winamp scripts now people are jumping out and telling me about this problem and that problem etc. So far none of it was with any thing I coded for as I was not the creator of the winamp scripts. How ever I fixed thoughs things I could reproduce. So now the always on top feature and display time toggle will work at it should. I was able to reproduce this problem and coded a fix for it. Now on the other hand crhi and ron report that the time reading commands do not work. Well I tested them here on 4 computers and had my hole beta test team accept Bruce who has not joined the crowd to play with my code at all this time <sad face> none of us can reproduce it. And so if I can not reproduce it It is sort of hard to fix it. So fs may not being not responsive it just might be they are unable to find the problems you are reporting. I understand it perfectly really. Well just my observations

This is exactly the sort of problem that must drive FS absolutely insane. You can have any two people giving their completely sincere and honest assessments of the various versions, and tose assessments will appear to completely contradict each other because of the wildly varying array of configurations, uses, and competencies out there.
