You're correct but I guess I forgot about that screen since it's been quite
a few months that it's been installed.  I don't recall what had to be done
to get it installed, but now that it's in things are a little easier but
still it needs scripts to make life more functional.

I tried the program  CallerID that you  mensioned, and the configuration
screen is to hard to figure out with jfw.
There is a list of devises, and checkboxes for the program.  I can't figure
out which devise is being used.  I've used other caller id programs, so I no
the modem works with XP.

This may be a nice program, but it definitely needs scripts for the
configuration screen.
The names for each checkbox are above each box, and aren't easy to figure
out.
Another problem that I found is with a site they reference in the readme
file.

I'm not sure why, but this site doesn't get virtualized by jfw.
