gee, dunno, whenever I have installed openbook and jaws together, I have never had to put jaws to sleep. Anyway, the way to do it if you have to is to open openbook, press ins+6 on the numbers row, press alt+s and hit a for advanced. Tab to and check the enable sleep mode checkbox, press enter, press alt+f4 answer yes to the prompt to save and it's done. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Easy J." <rios25@xxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, May 20, 2004 1:57 PM Subject: JFW and Openbook working together. I had requested help in putting JFWS in sleep mode and it worked for now and thanks to the few people that helped me out on that! Such as Shaun, Gail and the rest of the people on the list you know who you are thanks very much and what I did is launched Openbook 6.01 using JFW 5.00.844 then after Openbook was launched alt plus tabbed back in to JFW then opened the configuration manager did an alt plus the letter s for user options then went in to the advance options. Then did a control plus the letter o to open the file OBU for the if I'm putting this correctly or if I'm not please correct me if I'm wrong the JSS.OBU for the Obenbook file so that JFW will automatically go in to sleep mode and via Windows messenger like MSN Gail had helped me on that and it worked! To the rules of the list when you request help on what ever problem concerning an app with JFW you let the list know if you were either successful and how you pooled it off and what you did or if you weren't able to correct the problem then letting the list know about it and discussing what you did based on the advice you were given. Anyway there you have it success! Thanks very much! ----- Original Message ----- From: "Baby Fire Ray" <sunshine@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, May 20, 2004 11:47 AM Subject: nero > how well does jaws 5.0844 work with nero ultra edition 6.0 > -- > To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line. > Archives located at: //www.freelists.org/archives/jfw > > If you have any concerns about the list, post received from the list, or the way the list is being run, do not post them to the list.
