JFW 7.1 and IE 7.0 with regard to forms mode

Hi.
I have noticed a problem with JFW 7.1 and IE 7.0 with regard to forms
mode.
When I enter something into a box, what I type doesn't appar on the
screen. Letters and other charactors are missing. This happens no
matter what form I'm in. It also happens if I were to copy and paste a
phrase into an edit field.
Has anybody experienced this and what's the solution?
