The problem with Norton and Word are the Norton office plug-ins. To
disable it, open the Norton Anti-Virus options. Find the word
Miscellaneous. In some versions, it shows up as a link, or one might
have to go to the Jaws cursor and use the left mouse button to click on
Miscellaneous. There will be a check box for enable office plug-ins.
Uncheck and tab for OK.

Subject: JFW 6.2 & Norton 2004

Hi guys, I have a friend who's running jaws 6.2 & Norton 2004 on a
laptop running Windows XP Home edition. He has Office XP on his machine
and when opening a Word document, a Norton window that is unreadable for
jaws pops up, but not the document. I know that there was a known issue
with jaws and a version of Norton, but I can't find any information
about it, so if any one can help me here, I'd really appreciate it.
Thank you very much in advance.
