Hi, thanks for reminding me about Advanced Windows Care! I used to use this programme under XP, but haven't bothered using it under Vista, since I didn't know there was such a version for Vista. Now I've found it though, I've just done a scan, and boy what a load of repairs it's done to my system! So far it hasn't caused any problems, but I'll know better when I do a reboot. One querk though, and I think it's a limitation of the Personal (free) edition, is that startup items can't seem to be removed. Anyone else had this querk? It's no big deal, I was just wondering as I've done 2 or 3 scans and it kept saying, "startup manager check box checked 4 items found", and, on the last scan, there was no repair button. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of RAWest Sent: Monday April 28 2008 4:39PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: JAWS friendly registry cleaner--does any one have url for good one?
