Bill, You should be able to access your CD drive from a DOS window by simply changing to the appropriate drive letter which points to your CD. JAWS for DOS doesn't have any problem reading CDs. Now if you're talking about booting your PC into DOS, there may be issues there. You would at least need to load a DOS compatible CD driver, and of course, you wouldn't be able to run Windows-based programs.
