That's probably because she hasn't set JAWS up so that it's in the system tray. To do this: 1. Go to the jaws window, alt plus j. 2. Go to basics, and then options... 3. Check the box for run JAWS from the system tray and then press ok. You'll have to restart JAWS for this to happen. Once you restart JAWS, it'll appear in the system tray. Very nice option!
