I i have a question concerning the default codek which is supposed to be found in windows 98? Recently I had to reformat and when I came back after installing windows 98. I noticed my cdex would not work. I assumed it was because I lacked an mp3 codec. I installed one I saved from my version of total recorder. My question is: Where is this default codec located. I had a lot of decoders, but, I fear, no encoders. I would like to get back my default incoder if possible. Thanks lots. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Lynn Gressley" <lynn@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, April 25, 2004 1:45 AM Subject: Re: JAWS and recording, converting to MP3 > Hi List, > > Total Recorder can easily record in mp3 format.
