JAWS and reading by paragraph

Hi all,
Using JAWS 8.0.423 demo, I am viewing my e-mails using a website. I'm
trying out the paragraph navigation features (p for next, shift p for
previous, etc), and JAWS is pausing at random intervals. Should I change
any of the say all settings, so that JAWS pauses smoothly whilst reading
by paragraphs? Thanks!
