Does that mean then that I'm authorized to use 64 bit JAWS as well as 32
bit? I believe so but just want clarification.

Thanks for all of the info. It did help and I have talked to FS about the
764 bit version of JAWS 10 and it does *not* cost any extra.

This is good news as the Acer laptop is considerably less expensive than the
HP.

It ddepends on what operating system you have.

JAWS10 will run fine on a 64 bit machine running a 32 bit operating system.

If you have a 64 bit operating systems, you will need the 64 bit version of
JAWS if this makes any sense?

JAWS run on a 64 bit machine?

        I am looking at getting a new laptop and I found an Acer but it has
the 64 bit processor.

        I also want to run XP Home, not Pro on it.
