I understand that Jim Snowbarger's scripts http://www.snowmanradio.com make the recording dialogue accessible. You might like to have a look at these. Grant, Well spotted! Yes, you're right, the "record" dialogue in Sound Forge 6 is extremely troublesome, difficult and irritatingly inaccessible in my JFW 5.0. I'm still trying to find some kind of work around for that trouble spot! It seems to make no sense in either the PC or JAW's cursor. It dcertainly does not offer to me, as a JAW's user, all the choices of start, pause, stop or recording source as is described in the Sound Forge user Manual but, somehow, there must be a work around, and in all other respects, I'm feeling quite pleased with Sound Forge 6, though I've only been using it for about 10 days so far.
