JAWS 8.0: Jaws doesn't announce hotkeys when pressed after Media player 11 is loaded

How do you fix the problem of Jaws not announcing shortcut/hotkeys like
control+c for copy to clipboard after WPM11 is loaded? It is bothering
me that it isn't reading/announcing them.
