If it's locking up your computer you may really have a problem but if Jaws is still running you may have a graphical document on-screen which must be recognized through an OCR package.

At 02:32 PM 10/5/2005, you wrote:

Hello,

I'm using JFW 6.2 and want to read a document in Acrobat 7.0. When I
open the document, JAWS says "preparing the document for reading". When
the process is done, it should start reading the document. However,
nothing happens - JAWS stops talking. Can anybody help me?

Thanks!

Maryse
