I tried a reboot and even loaded an older version of JAWS 5.0. The problem is still there. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Adrian Spratt" <A.Spratt@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Monday, October 23, 2006 11:10 PM Subject: Re: IE address bar? This may seem unhelpful, but my address bar still works. I'm using XP Pro, JAWS 6.2, Nod32 antivirus and the same version of IE as you. Would it be worth a reboot? If I'm not experiencing the problem, I doubt the problem originates with MS. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Clark Friedrichs" <1clarkf@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> > Folks, > > I just noticed it this evening, so I don't know how long this has been > going > on, but my address bar in IE is gone! > > Specifics: > XP/Home - JAWS 7.1 - IE 6.0 - Norton Anti Virus 2006 > > When I do the Insert+a, it just responds with "Address Bar". > When I do the Alt+D it responds with "Address Edit Combo 0 Items Alt+D". > > I have absolutely no idea what is happening, I am at a loss! > > Any help will be gratefully appreciated. > > Clark -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/ Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.com JFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the word unsubscribe in the subject line.
