if I remember correctly it is a tab key and shift tab brings you back to the previous cell.

Subject: How to navigate around tables MS Word

Hello Listers:

I have a document in MS Word format.

Tables are liberally placed throughout the document.

they mostly consist of a prompt column and an answer column.

If I land on the prompt column that says "Date", What is the command to move
to column 2 so I can type the date.

Thanks in anticipation.

sincerely:

Dave Durber
