Hi Tom, Many thanks for your response. It seems to be the case in which I am but I did not realize that text notes were not treated like title and subtitle. I sometimes did this in PowerPoint 2003 and did not understand why I could not do it anymore in PowerPoint 2007. Now, it's clearer for me. Many thanks. Have a nice day. Hi, I found that editing slide title and subtitle text wasn't that difficult; what you do is press enter on the title or subtitle placeholder and it becomes editable. Press escape when you're finished to return to the object layer. Slide notes, on the other hand can be a real pain in the butt. My work-around was and still is to put my slide note together using notepad or even Word, select all of it, alt+tab over to the slide note pane and paste it in. It's not efficient in the least but it works. Freedom really needs to address this issue, as it's been around for quite some time.
