How do I disable a flash movie?

There is a Web site I want to use which has an embedded Flash movie complete
with sound which over powers Jaws. It seems to me that there must be a quick
way to shut it off and continue with the real business of the Site.
Is there a key or key combination to do this? ESCape didn't work as it often
does with ordinary sound files.
On principle I'd send a complaint to the company and refuse their business but
I am needing them.
