I just tried at jfwlite.com and it said zero items. I don't know why either. I just had a sighted person emulate what I advised. Even though it worked once for me and other listers have said it worked, we couldn't copy it other than to drag the bar and it would bounce back to the original position and would read with alt D or F6. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hal Pearson" <hspearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, October 06, 2005 5:18 PM Subject: Re: Highlighting and copying a website address? You know just after I posted today, I went and tried it, I got something like, http://www.jfwlite.com, 0 items. So the actual address was spoken but not sure why it would say 0 items? When alt D doesn't work, sometimes the problem is that the bar itself has been moved or the borders of it have been changed. Either have a sighted person double click with a mouse within the bar or find it with the Jaws cursor and double click with the left mouse button. It should snap back into its original position. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Hal Pearson" <hspearson@xxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, October 06, 2005 8:39 AM Subject: Re: Highlighting and copying a website address? Hi, Press Alt + D, to set focus to the address field. Then, do Sift + End key, to select the entire line. Do the copy command, control + C, to copy the URL adress. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of Beto Escobar III Sent: Wednesday, October 05, 2005 2:00 AM To: JFW List Serve Subject: Highlighting and copying a website address? Hello JFW Users! I need some help. I've just installed JAWS 7.0, and when I am using Internet Explorer, and press insert, a I hear the website address. Is there some way to highlight what is said, and paste it on a document? If not, how can I get the website address and do that? I need this answer kinda quickly. If anyone can simply sent me a personal reply rather than me waiting to receive the digest form of the list, this would be great.
