hello Anita!

Since, you already extracted Skype scripts, go to the extracted folder and press CTRL + C, to copy the content of the extracted folder, and go to your start menu, All Programs, JAWS 7 sub menu, Explore JAWS, and look for the Explore My Settings folder. This is much easier. Once you are there, paste the content of the extracted folder by pressing CTRL + V.

After you paste all of the scripts, you need to re-compile the scripts.

to re-compile, Do this :
1. Assuming that you don't have any open window running.
2. Press your JAWS Key + 0, on the top row, to open the efault.JSS file.
3. Once you are there, press CTRL + F4, to close the current window.
4. Once you are done, press CCTRL + O, to load the open dialog window.
5. Press shift + Tab key once to move focus to the list of available scripts.
6. Once you are there, press the letter S, and look for the Skype related scripts.
7. The first Skype scripts related file is "Skype.JSS".
8. Once you found it, press enter to open.
9. Once it is open, press CTRL + S, to re-compile the scripts.
10. The script manager will confirm that you successfully re-compiled the scripts. Press CTRL + F4, to close the Skype.JSS file.
11. Again, press CTRL + O, to load again the open dialog window.
12. Press shift + Tab key again to move focus to the list of available scripts.
13. Press S, and look for "SkypeCOMAPI.JSS". Once you found it, press enter to open.
14. Re-compile the scripts again. CTRL + S, to re-compiled.
15. Once you successfully re-compiled, CTRL + F4 to close the current open scripts.
16. Do step 11 to 15. Just look for the next scripts right after "SkypeCOMAPI.JSS".
17. "SkypeSetup.JSS" is next after "SkypeCOMAPI.JSS" and followed by "SkypeWatch.JSS"
18. Once you re-compiled the 4 script source files, you are almost done.
19. The last step you need to do is to put a line of code to the Default script source file.
20. Assuming that you close all script window.
21. CTRL + Shift + D, to load the default .JSS file.
22. Once you are there, press your down arrow key and look for the last line of the "use "Script name" line.
23. Put a blank line right after the last line.
24. Copy the line below:

use "SkypeWatch.jsb"

25. Once you are done, paste the code to the blank line you provide.
26. If you are done, press CTRL +S, to re-compiled.
27. Press Alt + F4, to close the script manager.

ifyou still have trouble re-compiling the scripts, please let me know.

Hi list,
I'm having a major problem with not being able to extract Skype scripts.

I'm using JFW 7, the latest version of Skype, Windows XP Home with
two-hundred fifty-six K of Memory and all critical updates.
