I'm having something of the same problem but only with Jaws 9 and not all the time. And, it only happens with SAPI 5 Set to Realtek AC97 Audio. The sapi 5 voice wants to go through my Audigy. If I close and restart Jaws, Sapi 5 goes to the Realtec

Ok, been there done that and it still wants to use the new creative sound card. Same thing happens when I try it on Jaws 8. I have an on board RealTek sound card and the line in jfw.ini looks like this:Synth1Port=Realtek AC'97 Audio This still don't seem to make jaws want to use that device. Any ideas?
