Good evening Kirsten,

My vote would be for weird documents. But, if it is a public site and you can post the URL here someone else could take a look at one of the documents for you to double check.

HTH,
Everett

Subject: Help with Adobe 9 and Jaws 9 - have I set it up wrong?

I just opened a document in adobe 9 for the first time, I went through the accessability options and basically let it just set itself up because I couldn't remember the settings I had on 8 etc. This means it reads the whole document and infers reading order from the document amongst other things. However, I then opened a document (from a website) and it just reads out a couple of letters, as if that is all there is on the line. I opened another one from the same webpage and it did the same. I began to worry that I had set up adobe 9 up wrong so I opened a pdf I had saved and it read fine. Can anyone shed any light on this matter? Do I need to reset my accessability options - to what? or do you think these are just two funny documents ...
Thanks.
