yes, but we are looking for confirmation.  For instance, does it work in
office 2k on xp but not 9x?  does it work in office 202 at all or in 9x or
xp/2k?  Previously we had gotten conflicting info.

sence theese keystrokes are assigned in the default file they should work in
both versions of office.

Roy,  I am asking if  those keystrokes work  in both Office X P and 2000?
In   other words,  if  one  uses  the 4.51  patch and follows the
instructions  you kindly  provided:
can  one use any Word or Office and  have   control  insert left/ right
arrows do their thing?
this is   important as I am building  a computer and currently  use 5 and
4.51 but  prefer the latter.
