If I understand things correctly, that spellchecker for OE is a
plug-in type program so if your version of jaws works with your
version of OE, I assume it should work with the spell checker.
I am not so sure Open Office is terribly screenreader friendly though
but if you have been working with it, then you seem to have found a
way to manage.

I need a spell checker for the Outlook Express email I send.
My laptop computer is running ME and JFW 3.7, it is a older laptop, like you could not have guessed?
On the jfwlite web site there is a

Will this program work with JFW 3.7 and Windows Millennium(ME)?
This laptop is using Open Office for a word processes and Excel type programs.
