  there is a jaws scheme that you can change to while you are on the internet 
called I think it's either classic with attributes or attributes.  This will 
make jaws read out italic, bold or underline text.  I'm not sure how advanced 
you are at using jaws, but you could also creat your own scheme to only read 
out bold text either in a different voice or by saying the word bold.  To 
change the scheme, press insert alt and s and go up and down to which ever one 
you want and press enter.
