Hi Jack & Dick:
The hot key is probably set in the JFW.exe rather than in the desk top icon.
Check the following:
1. From the desktop tab to start.
2. Hit "shift+F10".
3. Click on "open".
4. Select and click on "program"
5. Arrow down to "JAWS50" and enter.
6. Arrow down to "JAWS" and hit "alt+enter".
7. Arrow down to "short cut key".
8. See if "ctrl+alt+J" isn't in the short cut entry, if so clear it, tab to
"ok" and get out (back to desktop).
HTH,
George R. Marshall

Hi Dick,

You have me stumped. What you could try is to give 6.0 a totally different
hot key. Follow the steps I sent to you. And rather than using the control
Alt J for version 6.0. Change it to control shift J.
Then, when you want Jaws 6.0 to start, you just hit control shift J and Jaws
6.0 should start. Jack
