Hi Anna,

Your modified IBM 1403 printer reminds me of the MBOSS-1 printer.  It might
still be around in a few places.  It had the same idea, but I don't think it
used the period key to make the dots.  The one we had at Braille kept
breaking down, was noisy, and the braille was questionable.
